Hoping this version finally has Ace belting out the choruses like he always does live. That song becomes a different beast when he does. Don't get me wrong, the recorded versions have their place, but Ace is too good a singer not let it rip on that. 

Apart from Banquet and Rough Trade head for Berwick Street which is just off of Oxford Street, It was the record shop mecca in London for years and is the picture on the front of the Oasis What's the story morning Glory album sleeve. There are still 2 shops on Berwick Street itself and at least 3 more in the surrounding roads. 
 
Berwick Street is the most central with Rough trade out of the west end a little and Banquet quite a way out in Kingston, there also used to be a good 2nd hand record shop in Kingston but I'm not sure if he's still there.
 
Also head to Camden Lock if you want to see London's alternative side at its best, there are a couple of stalls inside the market and at least one shop on the way up to the market from the tube station. Camden is also great for food, beer and music pubs.
 
Apart from that there's Ronnie Scotts and the 100 Club which are must see's even if nothings on and more venues, good pubs and restaurants than you can shake a stick at in London.
 
And if you are in London on the 1st or 3rd Friday of the month there is a record fair in Spittlefields Market which is always worth a look, it's also on some Saturdays but I'm not sure which and that are in general is also good for food, beer and music and is also pretty close to Rough Trade
 
Enjoy but remember you've got to get all those records and all the other shit you buy home.

You'd probably like All Ages in Camden Town.

Visit Banquet Records in Kingston, and the east Rough Trade. They're the best shops I've been to in London, absolutely fun as hell.

The one in Exton, PA had a few copies of Buddha when I was there about two weeks ago.  For some reason mine came up to $3.79.

I know I'm crazy but On A Wire is my favorite GUK album. True story.

- I enjoy listening to this WAY more in my living room than from my laptop speakers (goes without saying)
 
- I like a lot of the arrangements on this (Close Enough is really fun, that buzzy bass really threw me off) and I like the WAY he sings, but SO many of his lyrics are just cliches thrown together
 
- 180 gram wax was a nice bonus

So excited that this is being pressed. It was my album of the year last year and I still can't stop listening to it.

We are distributing the vinyl release of Pentimento's self-titled LP. This is a preorder with a TBA shipping date, somewhere around the May 7 release date.
 
Pentimento's self-titled full-length was released for free by the band on the Internet in November 2012. You can actually still get a free copy of the record digitally - you just have to email [email protected].
 
We have four different variants of the vinyl available for purchase. The vinyl themes coincide with the album art - the sun, the ocean and the sand. These are available individually and also as a three-pack where you can save a few bucks.
 
There is also a black variant, which will be housed in a special limited-edition, hand-screened jacket that we are making right here in the P+P warehouse. The black variant and those jackets are limited to only 50, and you will still receive the original art jacket with those 50. We will be doing black vinyl with these custom jackets for every 12" vinyl release in 2013 - this is the second one (After The Fall was the first) - and if you collect all of them, we will ship you a free box to house them in at the end of the year. We will only make enough boxes for the people who collected all of them, so they will be extremely special and very limited items.
 
This does *not* come with a digital download of the record but it does come with TWO unreleased and previously unheard B-sides from the recording sessions. You'll get these two songs immediately upon purchase.
