  1. From their homepage... Thank you for coming to our USA 10am online store sale. In order to fulfill your order in a timely fashion, we are placing a limited quantity of each title (Odelay, Mellow Gold, XO and Figure 8) in the store today. Once these are shipped, we will announce the next sale date both here and on our social media outlets. If you would like to receive an email with our next on-sale date, please sign up on our mailing list after you enter the website. So I guess more copies will eventually go up for sale in their online store.
  2. It's listed as a single LP on bong load's webstore... http://www.bongloadrecords.com/#!product-page/tw39p/2ea794a0-7045-8bd1-e3db-a00e2d489912
  3. Solid first post. I think you're onto something here. I'll wait around to see what other options pop up with the US release.
  4. VMP Exclusive Features: - Red & orange marbled vinyl - LTD to 750 foil-stamp numbered copies Ehhhhh.....not sure I'm going out of my way to pick this up. MIght just hold onto that SubPop preorder for the yellow loser variant.
  5. Looks like the BSM /200 is now sold out. Does anyone know what that description is supposed to look like? I don't get how it's a tri-color consisting of only black and blue. I'm sure it's going to be cool regardless because BSM does not disappoint.
  6. Don't they typically release the VIP version to the general public the next day? I wonder if this will sell out before then. I might have to pick up a copy if it lasts until then.
  7. Did anybody ever pick up a copy of Living Outside from Spartan? Curious how it sounds because it's hard for me to spend $20 on a single LP if it doesn't really sound that good. Maybe I'll just wait for Spartan to run one of their discount codes but I'd hate to miss out on this variant...so cool.
  8. Sold out already. I had no chance of picking this up. Well, if anyone is having buyers remorse and wants to unload their copy, I'm here for you.
  9. Life changes. It’s the natural order of things. As you get older, friendships evolve, relationships fade, and surroundings change. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but trying to find your place and a sense of balance in all of life’s changes is something no one really prepares you for. The four members of Cleveland’s Signals Midwest can certainly attest to that. In eight years, they’ve borne witness to graduations and weddings, moves and funerals, new loves and heartbreak. But through it all, the one constant in the lives of vocalist/guitarist Max Stern, bassist Loren Shumaker, guitarist Jeff Russell, and drummer Steve Gibson has been this band. At This Age, the quartet’s fourth full-length album, is both a testament to change and a reflection of a band at a pivotal moment in their lives. When you’re a young punk, the idea of devoting your life to music — writing songs and traveling the country with your best friends — doesn’t seem that hard: Write songs, get in the van, and go. “Will we make any money? Will our jobs still be there when we get back? How will we pay our rent next month? Who cares? As long as we’ve got each other and this band, that’s all that matters.” It’s an ethos that guides many bands in the beginning, but after a while, it’s not an easy attitude to maintain. “I was asking myself questions like ‘How do I evolve as a person but retain what I love? How do I advance through the world but sustain the things that excited me when I was first discovering them?’” says Stern of At This Age. These are the questions that guide the album, which marks some of the band’s most stark and mature songwriting to date. “I tried to approach songs from a few different viewpoints to really explore that world,” Stern says. “This is the first time that I've written songs from a point of view other than my own, across age and gender and identity.” If Latitudes and Longitudes is a document of a band discovering their voice, and Light on The Lake is them honing in on their sound, then At This Age finds Signals Midwest hitting their stride. “It’s a much more stripped-down jammer,” Russell says, “We just had fun. Everything came naturally and it seems like we finally found our stride in the writing process.” And it shows. Produced by Into It. Over It.’s Evan Weiss and recorded at Atlas Studios in Chicago IL, At This Age might be the band’s most stripped-down songwriting, but it’s an album that sounds huge. At times urgent and anthemic, and at others intimate and poignant, At This Age isn’t just an album, it’s a part of Signals Midwest; a cathartic release of angst and anxiety and vulnerability and maturation. It’s their way of communicating with the world and navigating the creeping fear that comes with change. “This band is not only my escape from the mundane activities of everyday life,” Gibson says, “but it’s a chance to get together with some of my best friends in the world and do something that we can all be proud of.” Eight years is a long time. For a band, it’s an eternity. What does the future hold for Signals Midwest? What does the future hold for any of us? Change is perhaps the most unpredictable and inevitable force in the universe: We can’t stop it. All we can do is to try to prepare for it. In the meantime, the best we can do is stop every once in a while to appreciate the people we have in our lives in that moment — it might not last. “It's crazy to think that it's been a constant in our lives for nearly a decade,” Stern says. “That's wild. That's longer than any job or relationship I’ve ever had.” —Matt Cohen Track Listing You're Gonna Be Golden Should Have Been A Painter West Side Summer At This Age Alchemy Hour We Drive Forever Like It's Nothing Autumn Breaks Spillover Who I Was Before We Met Song For Ana Pressing Information First Pressing: 125 Turquoise w/ White Starburst 175 Opaque Light Gray/Blue 200 Opaque Tangerine 500 Black
  10. Amazing news! I've been waiting on this one to get reissued for a long time. Ordered with a quickness.
  11. Ordered the splatter bundle. It's a shame that splatter is even available still. This band is too good to be overlooked like this. The new single is fantastic.
  12. I would probably hold off on buying any out of press subpop releases. They've been on a pretty decent role the last several years with reissuing stuff. They have such a massive back catalog that it takes time but they will eventually get to everything I would assume. They are a smart label and realize what stuff is in demand. That person is going to be pissed when the news drops in August! And YES to Rising Tide and Live....
  13. For sure! I'm excited! I'll be curious to see what SubPop does with this reissue. The title track still gives me goosebumps after all these years. Such a beautiful track and beautiful album.
  14. No, Diary is definitely not out of print...you can find it all over the place. If you reread my post, I mention that they are planning or reissuing "How it Feels to Be Something On" in August. I posted this info in the Diary thread because we don't have official info yet. Didn't want to create a new thread yet.
  15. I didn't know where else to post this and I didn't want to start a new thread until we have official info. I emailed SubPop the other day and asked if there were any plans to reissue "How it Feels to be Something On" and this is the response I received.... Brian, Just between you and me, I'd say that if your birthday was in August, Sub Pop would be giving you present this year. Happy birthday, Derek Erdman Looks like it's finally going to be back in print this coming August! I for one am elated because this album is one of my favorites from back in the day. I've been hesitant to spend the money on an OP so I'm glad I held out. I'm sure SubPop will do something nice for this release.
  16. Oh yeah! I completely forgot it was already posted. Yeah, this is the official version I guess. I think I enjoyed the visual accompaniment of the other videos more so than this one but it's still pretty good. The videos sure do fit the mood and feel of their music.
  17. Could be different for this release considering it's a RSD release. Amazon might not be getting any stock of this one.
  18. I would keep an eye on Amazon UK. They usually end up getting AC30 releases and it's typically a lot cheaper. That's where I grabbed Grandfeathered and the RD's Pure Mood....both of which were colored 1st press copies.
  19. Oh wow, this cover art is setting Pure Noise up for all kinds of absurd variants. I just hope they keep with tradition and release a limited letterpress cover and I hope it's not tied up in some ridiculous bundle full of crap I don't want. Regardless, I'm always excited about new gates.
  20. GraywhaleSLC has copies of ACD for $20 for those people still searching. http://www.graywhaleslc.com/p/17687125/nothing-acd
  21. Not sure what shipping is but GraywhaleSLC has this up for $27.98. Not bad http://www.graywhaleslc.com/p/17984324/mew-and-the-glass-handed-kites
  22. Alright, I think I'll head over to 2nd Ave Records. Thanks for the suggestion! Do they have a place where they list the inventory they have available for the RSD titles? I found a Facebook page but it didn't have much detail.
