radiatorhums Posted April 1, 2014 Share Posted April 1, 2014 I was a little letdown with the track order on The Seer 3xLP, which is radically different than on the 2xCD. It really has a different flow that I just can't seem to dig, although I'm still trying... I'll have to see if they do the same kind of thing with this set. I was definitely thrown off by the 3xLP order too. I got really used to the CD order before I picked it up and I prefer that order. Overall though, I think the album is incredible no matter how the songs are arranged. Since there's no huge rush, I'll order this sometime before release date. In my opinion, when variants are taken out of the equation, it's just more of a spotlight for the actual music. Also, fucks who don't appreciate the tunes won't scalp those who do. I personally never liked Jarboe, so that being said if her shit wasn't on Soundtracks for the Blind I would probably call that one of the best albums ever.
