webdoggy
Captainaldous said SSD wouldn't guarantee a colored copy, but you might email them asking if they have any left.
Santa Bateman
Might have to check that out. If black is an option ill have to go with that. Better on black than no copy at all.

mikeburns
I purchased mine through wowhd (thats my international pre order go to, never missed coloured vinyl yet). It still hasnt arrived in New Zealand, picking it will be here any day now. Cross fingers no surface noise (as it is MOV). Keep the reviews coming on this one, would love to hear how it compares to the RSD version...

I've got all of the MOV Alice in Chains, two of the Stone Temple Pilots, the Zombie 45, and probably more. I've NEVER had a surface noise issue. guyremix
MOV are one of the best labels for zero surface noise vinyl!
mikeburns
Just do a little more searching guys, there is plenty around about surface noise and MOV releases, especially the colour variants. I have 3 of about 15 MOV releases that have surface noise, one is particularly bad. The sound quality is great though, just a little grating with the surface noise (which im beginning to think might be a non-fill issue, should look more closely with a scope though). The only record I own that has this kind of surface noise is a flying nun reissue I purchased recently, so this is not a normal problem for other companies. Im not trolling either, I really like the company and their product, just wish they were a bit more reliable in their quality control. They have warp issues too from time to time... but I LOVE their choice of pressings, especially in the last year! Alice in Chains
mikeburns
So anyone compared the MOV with the RSD repress? I hate waiting for mail orders as im so far away! takes forever.
mikeburns
Got my MOV on yellow vinyl today. Vinyl has a slight edge warp, does not effect play and a few ticks which will probably come out with a clean. No surface noise at all which is great! Cover is nice and glossy and it has an insert with lyrics etc. All in all a great package and sounds superb. Cant imagine the RSD release sounding much better to be honest, definitely recommended. I am so happy to finally have this on vinyl for a decent price. Beautiful album and a worthy addition to my collection.
JFC1549
Listening to my MOV yellow vinyl copy now. It sounds excellent. They were such a good band and underrated band.
ntslash
The RSD release sounds incredible. I have no need to buy the MOV release (although the color was enticing). Given the extra songs on the RSD release, I can't see how the MOV would be better.
planetrakis
Kinda disappointed by the packaging/art/whole. Slight blur to art, skinny ass 1mm sleeve, and the most -.0005 micron resealable outer ever. That being said the vinyl is thick, bee colored, and sounds excellent.

mikeburns
cool well everyone is happy then ahaha. Both versions are great (and I would have had a copy of the RSD version if it had actually gotten to NZ) but I bought the MOV before the rsd reissue became available through amazon. Couldnt be happier with the MOV (minus the marginal warp). Bring on soup!
ExtraFox
The RSD version has cropped up at Acoustic Sounds. downisthenewup87
So repress of the RSD release is a good one? I'm about to order Grizzly Bear's Veckatimest from SoundStage and need a 2nd order to cancel out their high shipping prices. Was either gonna do this one or Yellow House... Thanks in advance
