Tommy
What happens when they realize half of the promises are bogus? They go on tour with only $20K The Real Nick Alt and highfives
highfives
They go on tour with only $20K It's funny because it's true. And sad.
dreamover
I really don't know what's going to happen. I doubt they'll order the vinyl pressing before they have enough money in hand. Maybe they'll get a lawyer involved and inform people they signed a "contract" and demand the money they were promised. If this ends up happening (and I have huge doubts that it will), I highly doubt they're only pressing 400 copies. I'm sure they will press 1,000 and sell the rest on tour or online. There's no way they're dumb enough to know they can make more money with more copies. I don't know of many printers that will print less than 1,000 gatefold jackets. dapeebs
Well, they're down to needing 300 promises. Really hoping they come to their senses and work something reasonable out for people who just want vinyl.
Tommy
Between all the people upset about this I'm going to estimate 60/100 of those are fake email addresses and/or bad pledges.
brianmorgante
I'm about to pledge the rest of them, just to see what happens haha
dapeebs
I considered that myself, but they only let you pledge a max of

highfives
I personally want Everything Starts Where It Ends pressed. Please make a pledge of $250 so the band members can buy new houses. You'll get 3 never before heard cassette demos, a black light poster, and a 140 gram 2 x LP copy of Everything Starts Where It Ends. Mars
We want to thank you for your encouragement and support as we begin this new chapter of Lovedrug! We’ve been wanting to press Pretend You’re Alive to vinyl for years, but with all of the false promises, bankrupt labels, and ups and downs over the last 13 years, it just never happened. We began this year determined to change that, and although we have yet to reach our goal of 400 pledges, we want you to know how much we appreciate your loyalty and support. That’s why we’re going to go ahead and press enough vinyl for everyone that has already pledged. We’ve put so much time and heart into making the bonus versions of some of our favorite PYA songs and the deluxe version of Notions, and we are so thrilled to share it with you! Thank you so much for your love and support. Because of you, we continue to make and share this music. Send your $100 pledge to [email protected] via PayPal and we will email you your instant download code for ALL of the material! If you are pledging for multiple copies, please be sure to send $100/per copy so we know how many vinyl and posters to ship out to you. Your limited edition vinyl and poster are being pressed now (It’s typically an 80-day turnaround from the manufacturer) so you will receive them no later than March 2016! Thank you SO much! Can’t wait to see you at a show soon! Cheers, LD
