Comedian Jonah Ray has started Literally Figurative Records, an imprint of comedy label aspecialthing records. He will be releasing limited runs of comedy albums on vinyl along with a 7" series called the Mutual Appreciation Society which will feature a comedian on one side and a band they are friends with on the other side

 

Upcoming releases include:

 

-Nick Youssef's first album "Stop Not Owning This"

-The debut 7” from Paige Weldon

-The first LP from the legendary Matt Dwyer

Holy shit I was excited to expand comedy collection so I started listening to this stuff on spotify. Jonah Rey might be the worst comedian I've ever heard and I've been on two Royal Caribbean cruises.

He's not a bad comedian, he's just not your style.

I'd like to see more Dana Gould on vinyl. His first album was released via Stand Up! but the others haven't been.
