Here’s the thing, let’s be generous and say 100 of this sell, I think it’s more likely maybe 5 max if any but that’s besides the point. The only possibility of sending non boots of Yeezus and Chanel Orange is maybe to pay absurd amounts for each copy’s license? Like most shit on this list isn’t worth more than like 10 bucks really. So what if they took the spare extra money and invested like for example $500 to license each copy of Yeezus and Chanel Orange?

honestly tho this is just a hypothetical and is almost certainly not the case. Either they’re boots or this is just a dumpster fire waiting to happen.

Idk if anyone cares but out of curiosity I DMd the vynl help twitter asking them if Channel Orange and Yeezus are bootlegs. They said “Any pressings we have of records are directly from the artist or the label.”

yeah this is definitely gonna be a total shitshow

Anything that sounds too good to be true.... and is from a meme tier scam....

I don't think any of these are exclusive to VNYL.

First up, The Promise Ring with their 1999 album Very Emergency. The Promise Ring are one of the most important bands in emo music history, and are the perfect pick to represent the original '90s emo era. Their influence on today's music is undeniable. Speaking of classics, next up is one of the best mid-2000's emo pop records ever, Dashboard Confessional with Dusk and Summer. This limited edition yellow pressing of the original 2006 release features fan favorites like emo love song "Stolen" and the anthemic "Don't Wait." Finally, we're bringing things full circle with influential emo revival band Tigers Jaw and their 2010 sophomore album Two Worlds. They bring the old style of emo back and breathe new life into the vintage sound. This amazing record is also celebrating it's 10th anniversary this year, so cop your gorgeous blue and yellow variant to celebrate now!

New level of fuckery?

All 200 of Discogs' most wanted of the 2010s on vinyl for $5000. $25/record at that price. Except that among the 200 records are some that have never been pressed like Channel Orange and Yeezus, and others like Blond which go for $500+.  So curious to see how this goes down in flames....

Seems like they couldn't find enough suckers. That URL now points to https://trntbl.co/, the "first wireless record player." Goop loves it, so you know it's good.

As long as there are lazy, rich people who are happy to drop hundreds and thousands of dollars on trendy concept products/subscriptions that they're to busy to vet or research, tech bros like this dude will keep proposing them and collecting decent cash each round. And lazy blogs and lifestyle sites will be glad to run unvetted advertorials for them.
