legsilver
Hey guys, this is my first post here, and I'm sorry if this has been posted before. So, I've been wondering how a vinyl record, especially a new printing of a record recorded many years ago, is made. I've been learning about the "lacquer" and the pressing, and the fact that records are hand made. Now, records are made from copes of a master recording, right? Sorry for my stupidity. So, if I were to buy a new copy of Miles Davis' Kind of Blue on Vinyl, would that be a copy of the master recording, or would I be getting a Vinyl pressing of a digital or MP3 file format? Thanks, Sam cephcarn4
