swankymodes
I'm in. 32 years old. Still wear jeans and sneakers to work though. I work in an office, but not a very corporate setting. I've managed to navigate my way into middle management.

controlthebleeding
turning 35 in a few months. While i am a bit old.. i still go to the hardcore shows and occasionally go up front.. I just recently saw LOS CRUDOS and felt like i was 20 again.. it was fucking awesome!!! Though i'm almost at that middle aged group, i have only 1 gray hair, and can still pick up an 18 year old if i tried... so i don't feel that old. I really do need to get out of the house a bit more and meet new people though...

oakland
I'm 33. I've got a nice house, two nice cars, a hot wife and an awesome daughter, a career that involves writing about music, more records (and better records) than most people on this board and I can afford it all. Yeah, being old sucks huh?

jhulud
Yeah, being old sucks huh? I don't think any of us elder estatemen of the VC board ever said it sucked...unless I missed something... For a little background on myself (since oakland opened it...as well as others)...I have a steady (albeit corporate) job, nice car, decent income that allows me to do whatever I want, when I want, no girlfriend (for the moment), and live in a nice townhome...with my parole officers...errrr, I mean parental units. It's a Latino thing...you wouldn't understand.
flood
yeah being old does have its advantages... got a big house, with a pool and a gigantic fucking tv set, a hot wife with an awesome job,a large room just for my records, 2 relatively new cars, 3 dogs, a 5 minute commute to an awesome job, and enough vacation to tour a little bit ever year... not to mention being able to throw tons of shows for my favorite bands and put out a ton of records... that makes up for the negatives

gravitylovesdrunks
You can only live in a beer stained dirty appartment for so long. Also, I don't think my wife would have married me if I was still making $7.00 an hour. true love.

vivsavage
I'm a member of the club. 31, wife, 2 kids (2yr daughter and 2mo son), 2 dogs, bald, and turning grey. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I have my friends that I party and go to shows with and friends that have kids and a more "domestic" lifestyle. Best of both worlds for me. drinker
I've been 30 since March, living with my fiance (also 30) for 4 years. Getting married Nov 15. We have a nice house w/ a pool. 2 pretty nice, paid for cars (which any of you youngsters probably don't appreciate, but someday you will). The whole big t.v. lots of nice stuff line. 1 awesome dog, and no kids. we go to alot of shows and games, since we're in a Chicago suburb, and with no kids we can pretty much do whatever we want. Just spent a week in Vegas and it was great. Anyway I guess getting old isn't so bad. Other than the whole "closer to death" part.

scooterist136
I turned 30 in February. Got a good job. I've been an mechanical engineer since I was 21. I make decent money. I rent a nice apartment with my two cats, many records, 6 old Vespas, 1 1954 Chevy Pickup. I've got a girlfriend and a lot of credit card debt. I guess I've sold out. I work in an office, cubicle. I am heavily tattooed and wear jeans, t-shirts, and Macbeths to work everyday. It could be worse. Being older does have it's advantages.
