When Thrice first announced working on the 4 releases which I think they described as a double double (for those of you who love In N Out as much as I do, got this reference). I remember thinking that this had to be a pretty daunting task to record 4 different releases and I had wondered who might be putting this out on vinyl. I remember asking Cobraside if they were going to do it and he wasn't sure, but shortly thereafter he said he would be doing it. They will be doing a single pressing of 2,000 copies and each album will have its own color of wax. Unlike most other cobraside titles, we will unfortunately not be getting a test pressing to give way.

I haven't religiously listened to all 4 volumes, but one of the volumes reminds me a lot of Dustin's solo album on EVR which I absolutely love and which I have asked time and time again to put out on vinyl. There is no doubt Dustin and crew are super talented songwriters and this should be a really great boxset.

From the cobraside camp, it isn't likely that we will have copies until 3 to 4 weeks from today.

Luckily for me they're one of the easier bands, but I have a feeling this might be the end to that if there are variants.

Agreed. Everything else in life I say "When in doubt, don't do it." With records I still buy when I'm straddling the wall dividing the pros and cons because when they sell out I will most likely kick myself for not ordering. So, yeah. Just go for it if you like The Alchemy Index shit.
