amsteel
Favre looked pretty not-terrible last night. He looked great on that cheap-shot block that could have ended that defender's career.
jayeffscene
Favre looked pretty not-terrible last night. He looked great on that cheap-shot block that could have ended that defender's career. That was a cheap shot, but I don't think it was intentional. Probably the first time he's done a block like that.
3milesdown
I don't know if you guys have a fantasy team on here, but is anyone down to start a money one? Nothing too much like 10-20 bucks. I only like to add money so it makes the competition feistier.

amsteel
Does anyone bet on the NFL (or anything else) online? I'd like to try it, just making 1$ or 2$ parlay bets every week. Bodog seems pretty reputable and their minimum deposit is 20$, which is reasonable.

He's now being charged with battery and false imprisonment. It doesn't say if he did the lights out dance or not.

kurtz
Good game tonight! I'm really happy Pittsburgh came out with the win! Sucks that the Madden curse claimed Polamalu already. Polamalu's shampoo commercial ruled though! Also sucks that Willie Parker got me jack shit for my fantasy team.

I still don't like the NFL overtime system.

zac
I don't like the overtime rules either and I definitely wanted the Titans to win. The only Steeler I have on my fantasy team was Hines Ward and we all saw what happened with him.
mcm1610
Would people go for an NCAA-type OT system? That would sure fuck people's fantasy stats over if it was a back-and-forth OT.

murakami
i wouldnt mind seeing the NFL keep the 15 min OT but combine with the soccer rule - play the whole thing out
mcm1610
Who knows what happened for real, probably nothing, but I'm willing to bet that if Joe Schmoe, or especially a poor, black Joe Schmoe was accused of the same thing, they'd slap some new bracelets on him and at least get him far enough through that he had an ACD. mcm1610
I'm actually arguing the other way. Because he's high profile, he got the benefit of the doubt. If this were a random guy, they'd at least have charged him.
zac
The only reason they even took him in and processed it immediately is because she said she made a citizens arrest against him and by law they have to take him in and process it. That's what the DA or some woman from the police station was saying on the news. They didn't arrest him because they thought he was guilty.
