Guest
home field advantage is one thing. but to group it with your gripes about what time you get to watch the game is completely different. they're still playing at home.
nivek87
The atmosphere is definitely elevated in a prime time game for the home team
catalinacaper
The atmosphere is elevated when two good teams play each other. Or when those teams hate each other. Watch any NFC West game not involving the Cardinals. The time that the game is played is really more of a media factor than anything. More hype. Guest
Niners/Cards should be a good one. Hoping to cop some tix for that one...there is also a chance my boss may hook me up with a freebie if his wife doesn't want to go. Since I will be back in Tampa I may even try and sneak to the Niners/Bucs on Sunday...hmmmmm.
KennyFuckingPowers
Alright even though everyone already knew this, there was just more proof today about it. Jerry Jones is senile. He is legitimately senile. The jackass actually said he is completely confident in Monte Kiffen and would rather have no other man doing the job. REALLY?! HOW MANY 40+ GAMES AGAINST THE D DO THEY HAVE TO HAVE FOR YOU TO REALIZE HE SUCKS?!

catalinacaper
The best thing that can happen for the Redskins is Cousins absolutely shreds the next few weeks and they can trade him for someone they need.
Guest
^ That's what I was thinking. RGIII isn't going anywhere anyway, so that could be a good move for them.
jhook
I also hate/love being a Redskins fan. Haha.

dave_jones
Andre Johnson is the man. Won't get a ring as long as he's on the Texans though.
jhook
Not only is RGIII not playing, he's inactive.
thebiglebowski
I'm surprised how little the crippling cap penalty ($36 million) that the league laid down as penalty for signings in the uncapped year is brought up when talking about the Redskins. A .500 record is a good season for them taking that into consideration.

But seriously, how can you penalize them for going "over the cap" in an uncapped year? Makes no sense.
jhook
They pissed off the owners because I guess there was some sort of gentleman's agreement they broke. Also, everyone hates Dan Snyder. If Robert Kraft did it he would be awarded.
dave_jones
The Cowboys were penalized too, right?

kyacrash
I'll be upset if this dude never gets a ring. He does this every year for kids, really cool. It's so easy for people like him to do this but it means so much to so many more. kamalatapes
Guest
my favorite part of the story was where a lot of the kids were grabbing things for their siblings first. made my heart all warm and fuzzy.

catalinacaper
Not like it matters much the Broncos will still end up with the 1 seed and find a way to lose in the playoffs
