But given that I go to shows quite often, I challenged myself to try to put together a list of who I have seen thus far in the calendar year. I also added a short list at the bottom of other shows I know I am going to before year end. Thought it could make a neat thread. I would like to compare lists if anyone else would like to add. Note: I am not posting this so one can argue about anothers musical tastes, etc. so don't rag on me for seeing bands you think suck Forgive me if there is another thread like this, this forum gets clogged pretty quick. momentumlost Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 shit...heres what i remember: cobrastarship, the cab, metro station @ trackside wilton, ct (i was one of the oldest ppl in the room...but my friend booked the show so i got to hang out backstage) limbeck, john ralston @ the knitting factory old office nyc (limbeck played hi, everythings great in its entirety) city and colour, attack in black @ the knitting factory main space nyc murder by death, kiss kiss, o'death @ bowery ballroom nyc piebald, clouds @ bowery ballroom nyc (piebald nyc farewell show) panic at the disco, motion city soundtrack, the hush sound, doug @ roseland ballroom (me and one of my roommates got the tickets for 20 bucks each and wanted to see hush sound....i left during panic's set to get laid with some girl i know who was moving out of her apt and wanted to relieve some stress) cursive @ the mercury lounge nyc the hush sound @ highline ballroom nyc (i showed up late so i could miss steel train, the cab amd the morning light) hot water music, thursday, paint it black @ terminal 5 nyc radiohead @ liberty state park, jersey city nj (2 nights in a row, headlinded all points west, showed up around 8pmish and saw only radiohead) gaslight anthem (kinda) @ the knitting factory main space (my roommate made us late to this and i caught the last song of their encore... upcoming: jonah matranga @ maxwells hoboken nj reggie & the full effect, leathermouth, warship @ highline ballroom nyc coheed & cambria - neverender (all 4 nights) @ terminal 5 nyc rival schools @ maxwells hoboken nj possibly a j.... m....... show later this year in jersey city...nothing confirmed yet Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now I have a livejournal where all i do is write about the shows I go to. I list the bands and write about what I thought of them.
