martyk36
Missed it. Can I assume it started with, "all the bitches in the house say 'hey!'"? it was actually like a pop-country song, kind of threw me for a loop.

Guess I'm not going to sleep for a while...
riddle350
it's worth the 42 minutes. It's going to take him a lot of time, energy and money to unfuck this country.

cosmonaut
This man is a brilliant orator, and that speech was a masterpiece. I can't imagine McCain will be able to counter that nearly as effectively.
benchwarmer
today is McCain's 72nd birthday. 72!! jeesh.
captainmorgan
This man is a brilliant orator, and that speech was a masterpiece. I can't imagine McCain will be able to counter that nearly as effectively. I'm actually sort of looking forward to the debates. I think Obama's going to really shine there. Of course then all we'll hear is "He's too well-spoken and intellectual to be our president" and then I'll want to stab myself in the face. But whatever. kurtmanner
I wish I could get over my belief that ALL politicians are corrupt.oh well I'm in a similar boat as you. I can't confidently say that even Obama doesn't have a corrupt bone in his body, as much as I like him. It's just impossible. Although, here's how I've been looking at it over the last year or so: His lack of "experience" has been held against him in every way possible, but I see it as a benefit. The longer someone has been in politics, the more corrupt they become. It doesn't always follow this rule as some politicians are just bad people, but I think Obama's case is pretty much this; less experience = less corruption. deville
Am I the only one here who hasn't had a sip form Obama's Kool-Aid? When it's too good to be true, it usually is. Remember this guy? All the Brits thought he was going to be the force for "change" and did nothing like all the others before him.
kurtmanner
When it's too good to be true, it usually is. This is the feeling I'm trying to ignore (with a little success), but I also don't know what the best option would be if that's the case. skanknsmile
it cured my E.D.! seriously though, a great speech and I too and looking towards the debates, and to see how McCain responds next week.
xfedaykinx
i get this "too good to be true" thing, but you cant argue the fact that Obama is a better option than McCain who we know will be shitty.
deville
Lets face it, this election is going to be about race instead of issues. I don't know where either of these two stand on issues since McCain flip flops and Obama never discusses them.
