voodooramen
How can a cart system really do this anyway? I don't understand how it wouldn't be able to tally orders correctly. And money was already deducted from my paypal, the payment to merchnow is "completed" so they took my money already. Uh, many places do? I know the VC store keeps track of how many are in stock, for one. Can easily refund a paypal transaction Don't know if you read what I said wrong, but I'm just saying it makes no sense how it cannot keep track of stock. It would be useless without that feature... And I'm not worried about the refund part, someone mentioned earlier something about getting charged once it ships, but I already was. adamlikesmusic
I think they were talking about credit cards. Every time I've used Paypal (which is many), it always goes through as soon as I authorize it.
steveooo
I better get mine, I ordered a copy back on page 1 of this thread.
leerobert
I just ordered, my order has gone though, and I have recieved a confirmation email. I also checked my order status on MN straight after and my order status is 'processing'. I can't get pissed if I don't a copy seeing as I am so late to this party it's not even fashionable. mynameistom
well i just placed a successful order too and my paypal was debited so either people are hella slow picking this up or merchnow are going to have some serious refunding to do if there were only 200 copies for sale. tuumi
There was a similar situation when Aural Exploits was selling the Into the Wild record. People were buying multiples and then they realized they oversold. They ended up changing orders to one copy per person. Not a bad solution. They should do the same here. It'd love to hear all the posting about why people deserve more than one. For the sake of full disclosure, I ordered three at about 6pm eastern time yesterday. jhulud
Here's a novel thought to avoid overselling and honoring everyone's orders...have a better e-store system that actually reflects current stock and when it's gone, it's gone! They'd have to buy a new system just to sell this one in demand record. This happens all the time. I've learned to deal with it. Try collecting posters and you get used to it quickly. Might as well wish for world peace while your at it
stallsstanding
So how many people in this thread have bought one of the newly upped records, 30? 10?
chaz725
id guess around 100-150 copies of this were bought by board members with people sayin they bought multiples and whatnot
patrickemmons
They took it down.... Now to see how many people actually got it.
euphoria
http://www.equalvision.com/news/show/329 NOTE: This item has already sold out. Watch out, eBay!
patrickemmons
Haha - love that note they made. Thing is - if they updated to post its sold out, wouldn't you think they'd say something if it was way oversold? I think they may have actually taken that long to sell 200, who knows. demarco
didn't buy this yesterday cause it was too much to ship. I guess I just don't care that much. I hope nobody bought some on here with intentions to sell on ebay. you can die.

jhulud
Go to the front page of MerchNow and you can access the order status via there. I just did. My order is time-stamped at 2:10pm. Which I will assume is 3:10pm EST...if we're talking thread page, I placed mine on page 2.
oakland
I got an order confirmation and another message from Merch Now saying my payment was received. I guess that means I'm good?

euphoria
I ordered around the 10th page, just one before they took it offline. I will have to be very lucky to get one copy
jhulud
I got a reply from them about not having received a confirmation email. I got the 'check your junk mail folder' and 'sometimes it takes a bit of time to receive that email' suggestions. But they did say that if nothing by tomorrow, to contact them...again... But yet my order is showing in the'order status' page for MerchNow. What a mess...Deja Entendu v2.
