harryq
Except they'll play the winner of the SA/GS series, not Miami. Memphis is in the west. I'm assuming/hoping memphis is beating the winner of the SA/GS series, just as I'm assuming miami is beating the winner of the NY/indy series
jeffbo
Glad david stern and clay Bennett were able to see their team eliminated together while holding hands, sharing some dippin dots
elgato48
Bring on Memphis! Although I think it will be a tougher series for the spurs. FatSheap1

elgato48
1 down 3 to go. Shocked at a total blowout. I'm sure grizzles will make a better effort out of the next games
Brock N Roll
Chris Andersen is having the game of his life tonight.
Guest
i cant fucking believe they just allowed a layup at the buzzer. with roy fucking hibbert on the bench. either way, this series is looking to be way better than i imagined. especially because theres no way chris anderson does anything remotely close to that again. ever. greekroflz
Pacers still undefeated at home this post-season, these next two games are going to be very interesting
3arl
Great game. I honestly think that the Pacers take it. LeBron is not enough and the Heat don't have enough role players to get it done.
elgato48
Spurs/pacers finals. Stern is losing it at the thought that might be the last finals under his watch.
paranoidantroyd
I wouldn't bet against Lebron. I mean, this team won 27 in a row and that's no small feat.
3arl
Neither were the streaks by the Clippers and the Nuggets. But they are also out of the playoffs.
paranoidantroyd
Neither were the streaks by the Clippers and the Nuggets. But they are also out of the playoffs. I know you're not legitimately comparing those streaks to Miami's. That's apples to prunes.
3arl
They're pretty comparable. Both teams were just a few wins away from having an equally long streak. Miami had some lucky last minute wins in the middle of that streak. LA and Denver weren't lucky enough to get those type of wins.

Those streaks were about half as long, just sayin
3arl
Those streaks were about half as long, just sayin In a 27 game time period, the Nuggets lost 3 games (with two of those games being decided by one possession). Hence they were just a few losses away from a 27 game win streak. In their streak, the Heat had several lucky wins in games that could've gone either way. Is it impressive? Yes. Is it substantially more impressive than what the Nuggets or Clippers did? No. And at the end of the day their streak doesn't mean anything in the playoffs. elgato48
Exactly. The spurs had a 20 game streak last year which included 10 straight in the playoffs. Which of course didn't matter in the end when OKC took over.

paranoidantroyd
This guy.... SWEEP!!!!!! They needed that sweep to get some rest before the finals. Now I look for Miami to finish off the Pacers in the next 2 so as not to let the Spurs get that much needed time off.
