element101
I'm at $60ish right now myself. Its great until that ebay bill hits my paypal
gravitylovesdrunks
ebay is all kinds of retarded. i listed one thing that sold for $72 and my ebay fees were $7.45. add the $2 paypal charges and it's all kinda of whack. but i guess the threadmaker made like $800 in sales? dante3000
I can tell you that I've spoken with paypal employees and they're scared as shit for their jobs. If that's any consolation.

actiondan
someone explain ebay and paypal fees to someone like me who has never sold anything via ebay.
mcm1610
You sell something, ebay takes money. You take money out of paypal, ebay, by ownership of paypal, takes money.
kyleevanswastaken
Also if you live in a country outside of the US, paypal offers shitty exchange rates. I remember all summer they had the canadian dollar way higher than it should have been just to squeeze and extra couple bucks from me every time I withdrew money. drds89
vinyljunkie
by the time i stopped on ebay i was paying roughly 800 bucks a month to them in fees for selling records.

thomas
by the time i stopped on ebay i was paying roughly 800 bucks a month to them in fees for selling records. I liked those "fuck ebay" skeletons you used to put in the orders. I think my highest fee charge was almost $50.
xxmartinxx
I've gotten up to $150ish and I agree, I have NO idea how it gets that high. It seems like they take about 25%. It seems like it never goes down. I don't know why they don't send a monthly statement with each charge per auction. Actually, I do. Then no one would pay it. kyleevanswastaken
I am pretty sure ebay is like the OZ of the internet, with all of the analrape and sketchy activities.
voodooramen
I haven't sold much on it but it truly is absolute rape. They took about $10 off of one record I sold for $70~ and these days sellers have barely any recourse for a false paypal claim besides covering their asses with proof of shipment and delivery confirmation. If I want to sell, I am going to post things on here, fuck ebay.
Guest kevinb
From what i've head even delivery confirmation dosent work in the seller's favor on pay pal claims all of the time, wich is fucking bullshit because thats all they have for proof of shipment
