justinfastbreak
http://milwaukee.decider.com/articles/hear-decibullys-world-travels-fast,1192/ Here is a link to stream their new album..I guess they are having a hard time getting it put out since they were dropped from Polyvinyl. Hopefully it gets released someday, though.
scotterson
i didnt know they were still around. i hope this gets a proper release. why did polyvinyl drop them? i really like city of festivals.
scotterson
this is really good so far. 'little white girls' is an excellent song.

scottheisel
Nice! I had no idea they were dropped from PV or that they had a new album. Listening now!
vinyljunkie
bands that whine about not being able to put out a record after getting dropped from a bigger label are spoiled. just do it DIY and put it out yourself. or find some dude who runs a label with one or two releases to put it out, im sure there are tons of them. scottheisel
This shit's super good. Decibully are way underrated. People who are into that whole Portugal. The Man/Kay Kay thing would be blown away by this band, as they did the whole neo-hippie jam stuff first, and in my opinion, they still do it better. deafmx
not bad. i've had 2 of their records for a while. saw them with the get up kids in madison at the barrymore quite a while ago. can't even google the date. surprised polyvinyl would drop them, i kinda thought they had broken up and started different bands. voodooramen
Yeah I am on the same didn't know they got dropped boat. That's kind of a bummer. I have their second album and need to pick up the first still. I will give this a listen, thanks for the link. They are a very talented band and totally too far under the radar. Well I am halfway through the first song and I can tell this is going to be great already. I really dislike where Polyvinyl is going these days, it's kind of sad to look at their amazing back catalog and see how little there is to offer now. The only updates on their site for the past while have just been touting the new Of Montreal. I fucking hate that band.
casey
I just rediscovered City of Festivals. I forgot how much I love that record. Listened to it non-stop for a few months after it came out, but not since then until a month or so ago. Also, Scott was dead on about the P.TM thing. Listen to City of Festivals and then listen to Censored Colors. CoF>CC
justinfastbreak
I agree about the direction Polyvinyl is going with. Loney Dear is pretty generic and i just can't get into Asobi Seksu. I do enjoy their focus on re-issues though.
voodooramen
Oh definitely, but the reissues fall in the back catalog category. I can't get into Asobi Seksu either.
forgeagain
If you like Decibully, check out two of the current members' old band, Temper Temper already. I've been sitting a small chunk on these LPs forever since they broke up. There are only 300, on banana yellow vinyl with nice silk-screened double-fold covers. Shit is only $7 ppd in the USA. GET WITH IT. http://www.forgeagainrecords.com/releases.shtml
gileadbot
Gilead has been trying to get in touch with these guys
