dynamitekid
it seems like quite a few of those insignia products have been getting solid reviews.

mcm1610
I'm electronically challenged, what would I need between my turntable and this? Just a receiver (and a preamp, depending on the receiver)?

forgeagain
I'm skeptical, but for $80 the bar is set pretty damn low on how good they have to sound in order for you to be happy with them. Still probably can't touch a set of quality speakers, but I'm sure they'll get the job done. I liked the Energy speakers I used to have a few years back, but they were a more expensive model than the ones listed above.
deafmx
got a pair of these today, haven't hooked them up yet but I'm hoping for great things! edit: hooked up and testing between Beware Of Safety and now Rod Stewart. nice range, could use some more bass but a good clear all around tone. hard to compare to my Klipsch computer speakers though
LowEndAutomatic
Grabbed a floor model set for $62... A few minor scuffs, but I'm not complaining!

mcnail
Wow, people weren't joking, these speakers sound amazing. They lack a little bit in bass, but the soundstage is impressive. Panda Bear never sounded so good.
