planetl Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 am i the only person that thinks this album sounds fucking sick? sounds like the best thing they've done since war! i do! i think it's amazing from the few times i've listened so far. not sure if it's better than FC or WATT though. have to wait and see if it has a lasting affect. This album is so powerful, really reminds me of WATT taken a step further. It's very well done, and I like how they took some of the ideas and things gathered over the past few years, and put them into the album. I'm very excited for the 2xLP version of this bad boy. I think an initial listen at 128 is inexcusable... but that could be my inner audiophile speaking. I keep hearing that Common Existence is leaps and bounds beyond A City... which I didn't think was that bad. Gets me stoked for a clean/quality leak, it does. jhog3411 Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 First off I am a huge Thursday fan so maybe I'm a little biased. On first listen this is really awesome. It seemed louder than a lot of the last record but still has its quiet moments. I know it's only a 128 rip but I can already tell I like the production better than ACBLD.
