Eat and watch a movie, drink a beer, etc. - Specs Liquor (imagine a liquor store the size of a small Wal - Mart with a deli) San Antonio: - Rolando's Super Tacos (the tortillas are about 1.5 feet in diameter) - The Pig Stand (best banana split you'll ever have..among other things) Corpus Christi: - Boat N' Net (ever order seafood at a drive-thru through a pvc pipe?) I havent been to corpus in awhile, but didnt boat n net close down? Man that place was greasy but the chicken and shrimp are amazing. Also where is casino el camino in austin? dylan
Ate at this place for my birthday. The food was OK, but the touch screens and lack of waiters taking down your order was nice.. there was no chance in getting the order wrong. Also the consoles needed you to "sign on" so I set my name to Batman, and for the rest of the night, the waiters came to my table and said things like, Short Rib Stuffed Burger for Batman, and I have a Hoegarden for Batman It was sweet http://www.uwink.com/restaurants/locations/mvca ive been here a couple times. its a cool concept but really lacks in other places. like you said, the food is just ok and usually the service tends to be pretty shitty. i dont think ill be going back there again

dcstrange87
Evansville, IN- Charlie's Mongolian BBQ- Best buffet in the city, go in an start piling as much noodles, veggies and raw meat onto your plate as you can, give it to the cook and watch him cook it on a huge circular grill. I think the record they have there is 10 plates, but I'm not for sure. Shoals, IN(hell hole of a place about 5-7 minutes from my hometown)-Velma's- Serves the greasiest food imaginable, open 24 hours a day(except on Christmas, opens at 12) Friends and I would always go at 3am after a night of drinking and playing cards, the last time we went we saw a 12 year old smoking, thought it was just someone who looked young for their age until the lady in the booth across the room started talking about how he was going to try out for the middle school basketball team. Some questions asked by various cooks....How are them Colts doing?(it was the middle of June)...My boss is gone for the night, mind if I smoke a joint while you are here?....What do yall think of this Bush character?(it was 2003) and finally...Know of any good huntin spots? I just got a new gun, its in the kitchen if you want to see it....
