Guest Admin
So a number of you said that I should do a subscription for our 7" series. I am definitely thinking about it, but I have to ask how much did Fat charge for their 7" of the month clubs for US and overseas orders? Just trying to figure everything out. thanks for your help. xjustinxschwierx
i say go art of the underground style. generic covers that can be stamped per release. also use universal b side labels...easy way to cut costs dramatically.
jhulud
wow, when was the victory "club"?never heard of that, but i dont follow what they do too closely This was back in mid-90's or later... They put out some pretty decent releases: Jud Jud, Evenscore, Madball, Integrity/Lockweld split on a metal 7"...actual metal with grooves and it played!, Stigmata. There were also a couple of others that were exclusive to members but then open to everyone when they weren't selling.
rock
what would music would the vc 7" have on them?
riddle350
Virgil one question/suggestion. When you do this I think you should give a list of what all the 7"'s would be that way if someone only wanted one then they wouldn't subscribe. Then any extras you had left over you could sell individually so people who didn't want to sign up would have a chance at getting one that they wanted. Are you still thinking about just doing them separately, though?

thesack18
if i liiked the releases and that, id have no issue with waiting to get 2 or 3 or more at once to save on postage
cj
volcom is doing their club and its 6 releases starting in feb for 30 bucks. given the fact that all of volcom's bands suck thats why its cheaper. im sure everybody here would expect and be willing to pay way more than this for VC's club

counterfiction
it's only $60 kids. for a bunch of records limited to ~250? badass.
forgeagain
I wouldn't even sell them individually. Anything that doesn't get bought via subscription goes into the year-end box sets available for $10 more than it would have cost in the first place to subscribe.
