tobinownlife
Got one on Ebay for $50. It got lost in the mail. The seller refunded me $25 which I thought was cool. He offered to refund in full but if he sent it, I didn't think that was fair. Anyone know what to do in these "post office lost shit" situations? Snaggle Von Swift
did he send you tracking info? are you absolutely sure he even sent it? the tracking said it was lost?
hobophobic
Without a tracking number, there is no proof he ever sent it. If the person is shipping a $50 record, why wouldnt he pay the extra $.60 or so to get the tracking number??
dante3000
This is why I use paypal to ship my orders. It's the only, ONLY way to prove to ebay you actually sent shit.
xgrantx
Always track, always insure. He had no leg to stand on and I don't trust people enough to just take their word for it. It cost 2.00 to track and insure up to 100 bucks so there is no reason to not when you stand to lose 50+ bucks.

wannabepunktony
You can file a lost item form at your local post office, but I've never, ever heard back from them after submitting one (I think I've done it 3 times over the years) but I guess its better than nothing. buddtoker
Hey maybe you'll get lucky like I did. Except it was a Wii. But we got a full refund for it being lost, and guess what came in the mail 2 months later. Our Wii. For free! Hope you get it. And now for only $25! aarondanger
Any record I sell over the retail price I ship w/ tracking or ups. It makes sense for the person getting it and the sender.

tobinownlife
Yeah, $50 is about the most I have ever spent on a record. I was getting others for great prices and just decided to go ahead and grab this to hold onto. It's really not the end of the world, but it sucks. I have been talking to him, he is looking for the receipt. No way to know really but I know a lot of people that probably wouldn't refund anything. redscare
Jesus, that sucks. I have a few of those and can send you one. You gotta do something nice for someone though. Like, take your mom to brunch or something...

I ran into you at the L&L a year or so ago. Perhaps I could travel back in time and high five you, or maybe I did.
