Opinion? Darkest Hour,Silverstein,Streetlight Mani

When most people on a record collector site are saying you shouldn't bother with an exclusive color, you know there's not much interest.

Personally, I'd buy Streetlight without a second thought, but I wouldn't bother with any of the others.

But I think the comment about the lower press runs for some early Victory releases still being available goes a long way to saying that 400 copies is probably too many. 200 each I think would be a wiser investment, but they probably won't do that.

Then again, it doesn't seem like VC is hurting for cash flow and selling as many of these as soon as possible probably wouldn't be a necessity, so if you have the patience to sit on those records after the initial rush, then it might be worth the investment and the publicity from the exclusives.

as much as i don't want to support victory, i'd pick up the streetlight record...

Also, I agree with everyone else. I'd buy it regardless of teh color. I wouldn't buy 2 copies to get 2 different colors, either... so whichever is available at the time of purchase.

in these times...400 records of each is tough..and every band is so varied..and everyone likes one or 2 and not another..i woudlnt..i would get the SM record if ya had it in the store..

I kinda feel like you shouldn't do this. I mean you will carry this records regardless of exclusive color or not. I think you should put that money into doing your guys' own records and carry the standard color that Victory puts out.

we sold 300 of a non-exclusive color of Streetlight. I am leaning towards that one and the darkest hour. I think I might pass on the silverstein as I think i would get stuck with a lot of copies.

i also love silverstein but never have their record before and i think only cd will fit for me....

Personally, I think it's a risky deal with any of these releases.

Even darkest Hour's New album is still in print, including the /200 Pink Variant, which was the webstore exclusive and available.

I think you may be better off passing.

However, if you do decide to carry DH, I'll still pick it up from you
