biggiesized
I don't care about going alone. I just wish there were more shows from bands I liked. All that comes to my town are bands with turkey haircuts or dudes with beards and acoustic guitars.
masjohn
I end up separated in the crowd somewhere alone anyway even if my friends are there. Basically, I like having my friends there for the in-between set time, but otherwise I guess it doesn't bother me much. exactly.
headtowall
i'm not a huge fan...but if i'm bound to run into people i know its not that bad. i usually get drunk and go with flow
bizarospeak
I've gone to a good handful of solo shows! I even traveled to Philly on a bus, by myself, two different times to see the Dillinger Escape Plan. I don't really mind. there are some bands i like, mostly in the metal vein that i couldn't pay some of my friends to come with me to. tanukichu
^ I've done the reverse. I've taken the bus and/or train up to NYC and gone to shows by myself. Thanks to this place though, I have plenty of people to hang out with in NYC now haha.
devilstrombone
Though I prefer going with people I really enjoy going with people.

I flew across the country to Seattle for Murder City Devil's first reunion show @ the '06 Capital Hill Block Party...didn't have a hotel when I got there, all alone, had a fucking blast
Guest
I've only been to a couple of shows alone, this fall I might have to go to Brand New and Glassjaw alone
brad
I go to shows alone all the time, in fact I haven't been alone once for my last 4...and my next bunch I will be going alone. I use to buy an extra ticket but kept getting burnt...so fuck it. Now I just tell people if they get a ticket, we can go up together. adammuzzy
going to a house show alone that 15 people show up to is real awkward. i've missed a decent amount of shows just cause i knew there would be a super small crowd and i'd be that alone asshole. saxamaphone
I love seeing bands and movies by myself. I usually hate being at a show when someone is trying to talk to you while the band is playing. Fuck, I hate that, too. Especially when it's about some stupid bullshit that can wait until after. (band was Northstar if anybody cares)
One Hundred Fifty-Two
The part I don't like about going to shows alone is after the show you have no one to talk with about how awesome it was.
riddle350
I'm lucky that if it's a show where I'm not going to go nuts for usually Dave and/or Vince want to go so we just get drunk, enjoy the music and have a blast. I've been going to enough shows lately that I've started to meet people so I usually know a few people.
mcm1610
I might go see Polar Bear Club tonight by myself, but my mother is out of town so I have to play parent to my 10th grade sister who has some nonsense at school that I have to take her to, so I dunno if I can actually get there. eddieruckus
I saw baroness by myself and it was awkward for me, but there's a bunch of shit coming down I'm gonna go to by myself, usually when I go to shows though I end up by myself because I wander around too drunk
jhog3411
I have no problem going to shows alone. It's often hard to find people who like the band or are open minded to see them. It's definitely fun with other people but by going alone you don't need to worry about them being ready to go on time, wanting to leave early etc. I can't imagine how many great shows I would have missed and good people I wouldn't have met if I didn't go to shows by myself. zac
I don't go to a ton of shows anyway but I've never gone alone. I can usually find someone to come with me.

monk0nuggets
I'm about to go to see the Melvins play a double set in Buffalo with no opener, alone that is. I hope it's fun! Should be entertaining at least.
