Last night I had a show in Brooklyn, an acoustic set with Downbound City and The Reveling. Not too many people showed up and I got sauced. Went to this bar with the bands afterwards, met a girl, we hit it off. I inexplicably leave the bar around 2am. I have a million texts from friends asking what happened to me. mikeian Posted April 10, 2010 Share Posted April 10, 2010 this actually happened a couple weeks ago, but i think the intent of this thread was to share drinking stories rather than what happened last night.. i was meeting up with my friends from out of town at a club and because i was running late, i ended up pre-drinking a lot of rum. i didn't have much to eat that day, so while my initial drinking would have been fine, i downed a couple of shots i had in a water bottle right before going into the club. I remember maybe 25 - 30 minutes of dancing and the next thing i know, i wake up in my car at 10am. i had parked at my friends' hotel and this was probably a 10 minute walk away from the club. i checked my phone, and the battery was dead, but i had a spare in my trunk, so i got out of my car. a couple of people outside saw me get out and yell "good job!" across the parking lot. i had no clue what they were talking about so i told them i didn't remember anything. they said that i was drunk and they were saying good job for not driving, as i was drunk and they told me to just sleep in my car. when i replaced the battery, i had a bunch of missed calls and texts asking me where i was. apparently i got kicked out of the club, but i just told my friends to have fun and that i'd be fine. i have absolutely no recollection of being kicked out and no idea how i got back to my car by myself safely, but i'm glad that my drunken self had enough sense to sleep in my car rather than try to drive. No Debauchery, but when they come, this will be the only place I share. flicker Posted April 11, 2010 Share Posted April 11, 2010 i like this thread because i like talking about my adventures and writing them out helps me remember events i previously forgot. last night. went out to da club. we were all low on cash, so we brought vodka in the car and pregamed down the street. we were pretty early, so we walked to another bar that has $2 long island iced teas that are super strong. they know us, we got hooked up. slammed two of them. went back to the club. saw some cougar/little asian man soft-core porn going on in one of the couches. like the dude has his hands down her pants. a small crowd of onlookers gathered and i pose in front of them giving a thumbs up and got my pic taken a bunch. someone bought me shots of SoCo....yuck. danced. then went to afterparty. it was at the lofts above the club. really swanky yuppie shit. stole a bunch of beers. at about 230 my friend and i decide to throw empties out the window....from the 7th floor. we cleaned up that dudes apartment and just littered the streets. that guys gonna be pissed. then my lady and i went home and did some unspeakable acts to each other.
