Just finished all 6 seasons. Took me a little over a month. This show is awesome!

I'm envious. Having to wait months between seasons and then only getting one episode a week gets to be tedious.

Any particular season stand out as the best in your opinion? And conversely, which one did you think was the worst?

Best=Season 1.

Worst=Whichever one had that Lyla character in it.

Here's a season 7 behind the scenes video, found it showtime's website.

holy shit. I can't wait for a week from now. The whole season is gonna be tense as fuck, seems like they're doing a good job with it given the plot turn at the end of last season.

Do you think he'll put Deb on the table??

I stopped watching half way through season 5. I found it to be pretty awful. Is season 6 any better? I am watching Six Feet Under right now, so might be a little weird switching to Dexter.

Pretty big eyeroll during the scene where he sneaks 15 syringes through security and then kills a dude at an international airport.

The rest of the episode wasn't bad. An awesome ending as well.

yeah that was unblieveable but the ending made up for it

not to mention bought a 1-way ticket overseas, paid with cash, and had no luggage. c'mon

My girlfriend and I watched the episode together and when the guy checking his bags finds the needles, he asks what they're for and Dexter says "I have diabetes, I have a prescription if you need to see it," or something along the lines of that. Now I asked my girlfriend, "what if the guy said, 'yeah, I need to see a prescription'." She said knowing him, he probably has one. But I don't know about that... Then again, he had to of known he was going to get his bags checked when he got there, so who knows. Just something I was thinking about.

knowing the character, and the writers, i'm sure he had one.

also, the walls in the kill room didn't go all the way to the ceiling, there was a good 3 feet between the walls and what appeared to be a giant warehouse behind. all he had to do was scream and dexter would have been busted.

i agree it was an unrealistic kill, but this is not uncommon for the show.

This whole thing with Debra is really bugging me. I like that she knows and Dexter has to deal with telling her about it... but her response to have him live with her so she can watch him 24/7 is stupid. The fact that the show is having him go along with it is even more stupid. Every time they showed him at Deb's house all I could think about was where the hell is his son? I realize that he's got Jaimie at his house watching him... but she has pretty much become a single mom at this point with how much time she spends with Harrison.

I was really frustrated that he didn't kill Lewis last night. Someone mentioned earlier in the thread how Dexter is getting sloppy and that is very apparent in his dealings with Lewis. For someone who doesn't want to get caught and has over 100 kills that he's trying to keep hidden... he's letting that guy get away with a lot. Scaring him away doesn't seem like the best answer.
