I thought it was pretty good. The season had some up and downs in terms of writing. They spent way too much time on pointless characters like Angela and the photography people while Rothstien, Luciano, and Chalky got kinda side burner. Overall my intrest and excitment was kept each week. The show has the potential and star power to reach Soprano quality just need to work out the kinks.

I get the feeling season 2 is going to be non stop though. They had to set a lot up this season.

Then you missed the best part of the first episode...the end! It did take time to build through the season but it just kept getting better and better. I felt like the photographer and his wife were very important because it built the tension between Jimmy and his wife. Van Alden might have been my favorite character. His life is so fucked now.

I loved the show start to finish. It did drag a little sometimes but alway made up for it by the end of the episode and I think they set up Season too to be insanely good.......is it really going to be a year before the second season?

I'm guessing the earliest would be 9 months.

Definitely my favorite show right now, bummed that season 2 is like a year away.

Agreed it's the only reason I have HBO, I can't wait until Capone starts making his rise.

At the rate the 1st season went it's going to be a couple seasons before we see Capone and Luciano's takeover

That's what I figured too, but knowing who they become makes it all the more awesome to see how they do it.

You did get to see a little bit of Capone trying to wise up. In the last episode during the meeting he told that other guy to stop making jokes. It will probably happen in the second season. He is already a ruthless killer in the show and now he is trying to be serious.
