Shitty Rambo
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/alkalinetriotribute/a-tribute-to-alkaline-trio That explains the just of it. Not sure if this is coming to vinyl, but if $11 gets you a copy I could see fans of Alkaline Trio or contributing bands buying into it. If the goal isn't meant I'm assuming the label pockets the cash, seems kinda fishy to me.

flood
wait... so i can pay 175 dollars, another band covers a song and i get credit for it? this is the most retarded thing i have ever heard.
islington
I think what they are saying is that you get credit for providing the funds to include one more band on the album, not that you will get credit for playing the song. Like Without the donation of (your name here) this song/artist would not have been included on the album. At least that's how I read it. It's confusing how they word it. flood
that makes sense you know.. because its more expensive to put more songs on a cd

Or you can spend $500 and request a band to cover Hell Yes and get an advanced promo!
SaulManella
i really hope this is good. i am a huge trio fanboy and would love a bunch of covers, but i can't think of one tribute album i've ever liked. seems promising so far.
nick6ten
All of this is streaming now. It's mostly terrible. Also, am I the only person who is mad that there is a cover of a cover on this album? http://pacificridgerecords.bandcamp.com/album/a-tribute-to-alkaline-trio
One Hundred Fifty-Two
I'm pretty irked by the A3T on the cover. What is that crap. ALK3 or nothing. Kickstart this: http://www.filesonic.com/file/1821782191

fixedfrequencies
for the most part, this turned out to be a big (unsurprising) facepalm. met my expectations.
danthemjfan23
just... why is so much of this so terrible? i don't understand. there's 39 songs. you'd think at least 5 or 6 of them would have to be pretty good.
donlombardo
Anyone bought this? and wanna send me the wonder years cover in FLAC? please.
