GradedOnACurve
That color is awesome!! You guys should really repress TGTBATA, Maniacal Laughter, and The Gold Record on some nice colors like that.

GradedOnACurve
How is this record? I love thier old stuff, is this worth picking up? I loved it. But I like just about anything they put out...I think this is better than the gold record. Never bought this cuz I have all four 7"s. I would also call this color "Creamy Beer Swirl"
kyacrash
How is this record? I love thier old stuff, is this worth picking up? meh, I bought it but it's probably my least favorite album of theirs. if you like their old stuff you won't dig it too much

hickey
i don't get people that prefer their "old stuff";how i spent my summer vacation and everything after > everything before Blasphemy! The Good, The Bad, The Argyle and Maniacal Laughter are easily their two best full-lengths.
GradedOnACurve
i don't get people that prefer their "old stuff";how i spent my summer vacation and everything after > everything before Blasphemy! The Good, The Bad, The Argyle and Maniacal Laughter are easily their two best full-lengths. All their albums are good, but I feel like their albums make a chronological bell curve. Their peak is How I Spent My Summer Vacation and Anchors Aweigh. Their last album had some good jams, and then some songs that were meh. Wheres the "I CELEBRATE THEIR ENTIRE CATALOG" photo? hickey
OLD GUY ALERT: I was in college when Maniacal Laughter came out and it was just several orders of magnitude better than a lot of that style of punk at the time. It's really a near-perfect record.
GradedOnACurve
OLD GUY ALERT: I was in college when Maniacal Laughter came out and it was just several orders of magnitude better than a lot of that style of punk at the time. It's really a near-perfect record. I figured. All the old souls fans will agree. It really is an awesome album. Their bell curve is marginal for me. Its not like their other releases were much better or much worse to me, but the two I mentioned mean the most to me. The Bouncing Souls are that type of band where whatever album got you into them absolutely means the world to you.
astrangerwithcandy
WTF!? Where are all the Hopeless Romantic fans? For me Hopeless Romantic and HISMSV are tops.
lifebystereo
For me Hopeless Romantic and HISMSV are tops. Agreed!
thacriddler
That is a really good looking record. I need to listen to this to see if I want to order it. I haven't listened to a new BS record in years.
jvphotoandvideo
Definitely agree on HR and HISMSV being my favorite records. I have an even level of interest in the other records as well. As soon as I start my new job I'm gonna pick up a copy of this. Awesome color!
fsccheek
My favorites are Anchors Away and How I Spent My Summer Vacation. I hope to catch the Souls on the 2 album a night tour extravaganza for these records. Haven't listened to the newest record either except for 'gasoline' - which i like. jerseypride
I totally get that this is subjective but I have such a hard time understanding why people think How I Spent My Summer Vacation is anywhere near was good as the rest of their catalogue. To me, it's an average pop punk record with a few above-average standouts. For the record, although I've been into the Souls since their first record, I am not some old bastard who thinks the old stuff is naturally better than the new stuff. I think Maniacal Laughter and Anchors Aweigh are on par with each other in terms of excellence.
