Guest soulcrusher
I'm not really into 7"s, except for collection's sake. I don't like the whole put the record on - sit down for 3 minutes - get up - flip the record - sit down for 3 minutes - change the record - and so on. So I don't buy them very often and don't have very many. I've noticed that a lot of people on this board have a lot and buy a lot of them though. So, how often do you actually listen to your 7"s? Or are they mostly for your collections?
goombagod
I listen to 7''s just as much as my lps, just depends how much rock-out time is available.
Guest
I have at least double the amount of 7"s over anything else. I play them pretty regularly because I set my record player on my coffee table so I can change records easily without getting up.
thacriddler
Not very often but you get booze in the mix and I may go on a tear.

unrvlngrcrds
This was the subject of a conversation I had with my self last night. After the conversation was over I decided to put almost all my 7's up for sale. The only ones I want to keep is my Some Girls.

sjb2k1
whenever i feel like it. pretty often for the ones that have songs that aren't available on other releases.
deafmx
not often, very neglected. i hate the shortness of them. i'd much rather listen to an LP and get that 15-20 minutes of listening in before making a flip. i have to be standing and cleaning or something to really get into playing a bunch of 7"s. harryq
not often, very neglected. i hate the shortness of them. this + they seem to be more prone to being off-centered rarely more than one sitting (though I might replay it a few times during that sitting) while I copy it to my computer
along80the85way
When there are exclusive songs to the 7", that's when I buy and listen to them.

mcm1610
I go in waves between being way too fuckin lazy to flip-em and change-em, but sometimesI listen to them a lot, like if I'm on my feet in my room. I remember packing my shit to move home from college... my record player was the last thing that got packed, and I listened to every 7" I had while I did that. maxxxg
The number 7 bothers me so I usually leave my 7" records alone.
trifornais
My record player is within arms reach from my computer so I listen to them probably more than LPs.
hipsterasfolk
Thread should be renamed: "Why do you buy 7"s if you cannot frame them (like a thrift store Fleetwood Mac LP)"
