magalvsr13
YFW is a damn, damn good poprock record the other two records are much better though, an thats when they really became the band they are now
jhulud
YFW stands alone as the bastard child in Brand New's repertoire...hell, the band has tried their damndest to distance themselves from it and Jesse Lacey has even said that he hates it as he is not longer able to relate to the songs anymore. Understandably so as lives changes and so do emotions... I still like it alot...can still relate to a lot of the songs...but I agree...Deja Entendu and TDAGARIM are much more representative of what the band is all about... mcm1610
And some of the songs, ie No Seatbelt Song and Mixtape, are great without being too pop-punky.

rivals
Maybe just nostalgia for the time when I listened to it, but it's one of my favorite albums of all time. Most of my music is nothing like that, but I think it just reflects where I was when it came out. Precisely how I feel about this album. skumbucket
Why do people want this so bad? Your Favorite Weapon is a horrible album and I could never get into it. i don't totally agree with this -- but there are really only four to six actually good songs on there. there's a few that make me cringe when i hear them. it's a pretty 50/50 record. mcm1610
I'll agree that Magazines is a terrible, terrible, terrible song, Secondary is kinda bad, and I could go without Sudden Death in Carolina, but I think the rest of the CD is good or better. flood
its the only brand new album ill listen to, as its the album they released before they turned into a bunch of nutcases, and were still good dudes.

cadetapplesauce
deja entendu was their best record. tdagarim is too long and makes me lose interest halfway through most songs. yfw is just OK. pretty generic, i agree. but soco amaretto lime is a gem. xfactor675
tdagarim is too long and makes me lose interest halfway through most songs. are you kidding? there isn't a boring second on it...
cadetapplesauce
nope, not joking. maybe its just not my thing. but who knows, i felt the same way about some of the songs on deja when i first heard that album.
sgoodcore
I think all three of their albums are totally different and totally great. YFW is sweet pop punk and I love it for it. I still say DE is my favorite but I think the lyrics grew up a bit on The Devil... so I'm a fan of it. I could have done without two random noise/instrumentals though. mcm1610
Actually, if Brand New did an instrumental album, I'm sure I'd love it. The encore they did last tour, "Welcome to Bangkok"and every rock out in a longer song (Demo 4 i think, maybe 5.. for example) are just a hint of what they could do. Guest falloutcollapse
I got YFW when I first started listening to pop-punk I got Deja after I outgrew pop-punk and started listening to more "serious" music And Devil and God recently came out, while I'm at the height of my "depressed, thought provoking" music stage I have attachments to all of them

gravitylovesdrunks
no way dude. not gonna drop the cash that ebay demands. i'm looking for a great deal or a repress, and the latter seems more likely.
