7 Inch Storage Boxes

Recommended Posts

I'm currently using a couple of these boxes for my 7"s but I really need to upgrade to something with a lid.

Post what you keep yours in. I'd prefer not to get cardboard ones but if necessary I will.

edit: I'd also like something that fits on an Ikea Expedit

In Australia we have this store called the REJECT SHOP. They sell these small book shelves for like $15 or $20 and I use a couple of them to store all my 7"ers and they hold about 1000 each. I can show you a photo of what I use if you want so you can see if a shop has anything similar. It's a good look and works well with the rest of the shelves i have for records.

I'm thinking I'll get the cardboard ones unless someone posts some really nice wood/plastic ones. Where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking?

Disk Union in Tokyo. They manufacture them and don't ship abroad, sorry. But I'm sure you can get the same thing at Bags Unlimited..

i got these at either walmart or target pretty sure they were only like $3 each.

they hold about 60 records each, but when stuffed that tight theres not much room to flip thru them.

i've been wanting to invest in those cardboard ones on bags unlimited, just never got around to it.

$15 is kind of expensive for what is basically 2 shoeboxes.

I got the cardboard ones on top of this page from Bags Unlimited. They get a little pricey with shipping but sometimes they offer good coupon codes. Plus you can stock up on other supplies like poly sleeves if you need them. Or 7" white paper sleeves for those cheap punk rock labels that just put the disc naked into a hard paper sleeve!

Bags unlimited doesn't add shipping or tax.

Do you know if they ship to Canada? I like some of those boxes, plus I wouldn't mind stocking up on some sleeves and all of that good stuff.

That is really nice! I'd love to have a bunch of those for my 7"s.

Unfortunately I would need 8 of them, and at that price it's not going to happen. :-/

Yeah, I currently have 6 of them, plus a few cardboard boxes as well, need to add #7 & 8 to my stacks. They're heavy and take up a lot of room, but oh the protection!
