felocin
What is the level of concern one would experience during hot weather? I'm worried about 100 plus degree days and albums in my box waiting for me to get home. ****english edit

youspinmeround
I usually request they place it in dry ice. Sleeve stays dry and record cool
adamrfox
or just dont have records shipped media mail? spend the extra dollar or two so it doesnt warp. and tell your postman/woman to just leave you a pink slip for packages instead of getting a po box
kurtz
Occasionally a record gets warped in the mail. It's really nothing to be concerned about. Even in the summer it doesn't happen too often. A PO box will not change anything either. Mail trucks are not climate controlled.
nivek87
better question, what about those liquid filled records getting shipped during the winter? jack white gets the jack frost treatment. edit: carole king - tapestry is awesome.

blackholesun
It's not too big a deal. I know I'm here in California but have never had a warped record because of it being left outside too long. Though I've always had a postman/woman nice enough to leave it in the shade. The only time I've ever gotten a warped record was when I left it in the trunk of my car for 2 days in the middle of summer :/
