Albums being prepped include new pressings of ”Reinventing The Steel“, “The Great Southern Trendkill” (2xLP) and “Official Live: 101 Proof” (2xLP)." http://www.theprp.com/2012/06/12/news/pantera-to-release-new-vinyl-pressings-of-the-great-southern-trendkill-etc-in-july/ Pre-orders are up on Amazon. markok
Does anyone have the previous vinyl reissues they did? I got only the Vulgar Display of Power (second record plays off center), heard so many bad things about the other two, that I didnt order those. youspinmeround
No issues with the ones I got
silentgods
No problems with mine. Really stoked to have TGST on vinyl. They never put out a better song than Floods in my opinion.
mameeshkamowskwoz
Far beyond has issues right out of the gate. Track one starts early due to a skip on all copies I believe. Vulgar display is fine. I'm getting trendkill and live101 for sure. Live101 was one of the few good LPs I had back in the day and foolishly parted with it thinking id have no use for it with CDs. Stupid!!! sugarballs
I'm excited for all of these. I also don't recall any issues with any of my reissues. I have an OG copy of 101 but I might pick up the reissue anyways.
josh83
Trendkill is just a brutal record but I don't really need these on 180 gram hifi quality vinyl.
heypeterman
All of mine sound fine too except for the skip at the start of Far Beyond Driven, as noted above.
mcpherson123
Can't wait for Trendkill but Live and RTS are just icing on the cake.
travis
Ill be bringing in all 3 of these for select HT stores and HT.com
gumbercules
Trendkill better have Suicide Note, Pt. 1 on it. The only reason I never picked up an OG press was because it didn't.
mcpherson123
Ill be bringing in all 3 of these for select HT stores and HT.com Fuck yes. Awesome. Got a price for them? Trendkill better have Suicide Note, Pt. 1 on it. The only reason I never picked up an OG press was because it didn't. It CERTAINLY will now that its 2XLP. I'm sure the only reason they left if off is because the OG was single LP.
lager
Does anyone know if this is available to pre-order in the UK? They're £34 each on HMV.com, obviously I'm not willing to pay that much for a double LP. I can't seem to find anywhere else that has put it up for pre-order. mcpherson123
In case anyone was wondering, pre-ordering all three from IVWT is the cheapest option I've seen when factoring shipping charges. ImportCD's is a close second but the horrifically compounded shipping and tax ends up pushing a little over the edge. IVWT: $58.32 ICDS: $61.24 plus IL sales tax from paypal. Not a huge difference but I prefer IVWT anyway.
travis
Trendkill and Live will be $22.99 and Reinventing will be $15.99 at Hot Topic. Select stores and www.hottopic.com

bgdesign
And the sound? Unfortunately, I haven't got to listen to them yet. In a hotel for the next few days. Suicide note part 1 is included on TGSTK.

tco
Seem to be ok from what i've heard. Just because a records OOP doesn't mean they may not have 1 or 2 in stock, give them a try, seemingly very good customer service from them from some forums i've been on.
