Alexisonfire farewell tour

So I have a proposition for those who can't get to a show and want the VIP vinyl. I don't collect all variants of AOF vinyl like I do C&C stuff. If someone wants to help me pay for a VIP ticket, the vinyl is yours. I'm assuming the VIP tickets will be about $200 (that's how much they're going for in other cities). I'm aiming this more towards those in the US who aren't getting a show but really it's open to anyone.

edit: VIP tickets are indeed $200 for the Vancouver show. I'm going to try my best to pick one up tomorrow. You can PM me any offers in the meantime :)

me too! what a nightmare of a website O_O

No kidding, I should have made an account ahead of time. I had a VIP ticket in my cart but because it was so slow and I needed to make an account my ten minute time allowance ran out. Then it told me my account wasn't valid. Panic ensued but it worked out, thankfully.

Picked up tickets for the final show in Hamilton. Waited for the floors to sell out and bought great seats at the side of the stage so I can take my 4 year old son (safer than having him in the GA floors). He's super excited to get to see Alexis who are his second favourite band, right after Billy Talent, who he got to see this summer at Edgefest! This should be a great December, VIP on the 26th, GA on the 28th and now taking my son on the 30th!

I think there is going to be various test pressings for various shows. If DA is putting together a vinyl box set of all AOFs stuff, there will be loads of 7s. It's not going to be 600 copies of one single test pressing. Even still I guess 600 is a lot. 40 test pressings of 15 different 7s doesn't sound right..

I'm down with the openers. I'm guessing Billy Talent is opening for the show on the 29th.

Not likely considering they've already been announced for another show.

I'm guessing a band they've worked with previously (as are most bands already announced):

  • Planes Mistaken for Stars
  • Johnny Truant
  • Hunter
  • Every Time I Die

or maybe a band they're close with like Cancer Bats.

They announced them in Brazil (a country they aren't as big in). In Ontario (Billy Talent's hometown), they're huge and I can understand why they wouldn't be able to announce them. Billy Talent secretly opened for Alexisonfire at their last show in St Catherines.
