jhulud
I am a Sam Adams whore. I'll drink any of the ales and seasonals and anything they put out. All-time favorite is Octoberfest. danny
Guest
I had some kind of dark chocolate stout a few weekends ago. mmmmm.
paintedinexile
Anyone try the Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin? Seen it at the liquor store not too long ago, and thought about getting it. Might not be in stores anymore though.
hudsoncomplex
I'm in Canada, and tend to drink a lot of Samual Smith seasonal, Mill Street Barely wine and Fuller's vintage ale. We really get shat on, as most of the US tasty micros don't make it up here, eh.
booyahachieved
If I see any GLBC Christmas Ale at the store I usually pick up a 6 pack even if I don't need it only because of how hard it usually is to find it. At first I wasn't that big of a fan but the more I drink it the more I like it. I'm also a big fan of Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale. It's more of an IPA but I'm a huge hop head so that's probably why I like it so much. I picked up singles of Goose Island and Bell's Christmas brews and I wasn't that impressed with either one of them. I still need to try Anchor Steam's Christmas Ale. I was told that it rivals GLBC's. We'll just have to see about that...
BuzzersonKillwell
I don't love Sam Adams beers, especially their hoppy offerings, in general but I'll check out this White Christmas if you all are digging on it. I've been drinking a shit ton of Mean Old Tom's by the Maine Beer Company. Stout aged on Vanilla Beans, super drinkable.

paintedinexile
I have yet to find a Blue Moon seasonal that didn't make me want to upchuck immediately. Yeah, I've yet to try any of their seasonal ales. Might just stay away. Not a huge fan of their beer in bottle neither. On tap tastes way better. And Sam Adams can be hit or miss for me. Some of their beers I really enjoy, and others are too hoppy as mentioned above.
Rip
I agree that any Sam Adam's seasonal is pretty damn good. Also, Leinenkugel Vanilla Snowdrift Porter.

icecream
also i'm told guiness makes a christmas pudding !? ronniegwilliams
Not too into Guiness, I don't need a beer that I can nearly slice with a butter knife. paintedinexile
000000
I should take a picture of how well stocked Buffalo stores are with Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Between that and Southern Tier Pumking readily available in the fall, we're super lucky.
3arl
Sierra Nevada Celebration is incredible. Christmas and IPA is a match made in heaven. Also Alaskan Winter is really good.
booyahachieved
Also, Leinenkugel Vanilla Snowdrift Porter. Just picked up a sixer of that last night. Tasted like cookies! It was awesome.
danny
what are you drinking ? I can't get enough great lakes christmas ale i'm partial to pale ale's overall but I could take a bath in this holy water This stuff is so amazing. Try and brag a 6 week. Hard to drink too many as they are damn strong (7.5%).

danny
If anyone is in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada and wants some amazing winter beer there is a killer brew pub called Taps and they have a dark stout and an oatmeal stout which is one of the best I have ever had. Best part is its dirt cheap. I will even buy the beer!
paintedinexile
Just got back from the liquor store. Built my own 6-pack with two bottles of Leinie's Snowdrift Vanilla Porter, Blue Moon's Winter Abbey Ale, and Sam Adams' Winter Lager each. Drinking the Leinie's one right now, and I'm kind of indifferent on it. Has a strong coffee taste to it.
withengineheart
Norway's pretty big on Juleøl (xmas brew) Our record shop/bar got in a few micro brews on tap (mainly stouts and super spiced ales) but I've been really diggin' 'Imperial Polaris' It's a cooperation between Brooklyn and Ringnes. Tasty as fuck.
