I mean, I guess I think there are situations where being barefoot is acceptable. The beach, the pool, etc. but at home, wifey is all, "why do you still have your shoes on? I finally got another decent pair of Onitsuka Tigers for a good price again. Might be my favorite shoe of all time, I can just never see paying $60 for sneakers when I have to (like to...) pay a bunch for work shoes anyway. I've never tried Toms though.
