I did use IRC a lot for a long time, which could be sorta close I guess. When hosting, we had a separate phone line so people could dial into the BBS with their modem. I want to say something like IRC sort of existed during the tail end of that era, but you needed to be able to operate off a command line. GHOSTDRONES Posted December 17, 2015 Share Posted December 17, 2015 brings back memories I started on a Commodore Vic 20 with dual cassette tape drives ( one read, one write) then went to a Commodore 64 skipped the 64 C and went to a Commodore 128 and then a Commodore Colt (the IBM compatible one).
