stranaspank
Agreed, it was ok. Could have done without the poop jokes and stoner humor. Took me right out of it. The cheap laughs were not worth tainting the atmosphere of the film. Black Phillip

Rip
Anyone else super excited for The Witch? Apparently people who saw it at a recent festival are saying it's gonna be the best/scariest movie of the year. Looks crazy.
tonyregret
FYI, Best Buy has their Halloween display up. Lots of Blu Ray titles for 6.99 and DVDs for 4.99. Is anyone going to Monster Mania in Maryland this weekend? I'll be there on Sunday
+hecollec+or
Ugh, I wish. Can't make it this year. Hoping to get to the March Jersey weekend.
Rip
Saw The Green Inferno last night. The acting was sub-par, but that's to be expected from an Eli Roth film at this point, but the gore and effects were great. Plus the film just looked beautiful. It was a cool experience seeing an Eli Roth film in theaters again. It's been way too long.

stranaspank
PS: Pop stars usually make for poor actors, so skip them too. Especially if they look like they look like Grumpy Cat on heroin. Black Phillip

+hecollec+or
can anyone vouch for high tension? it looks promising, but i need to prioritize. It's fucking awesome. One of the better horror films of the last decade. But many hated the finale, which I won't give away. & if you do watch it, do yourself a favor & watch the unrated cut in the original French language. Only way to see it. BKO5950505
The lady and I have been doing a movie a night since the first day of fall, alternating between seen and unseen every night. Most of our "unseens" have been very disappointing thus far (Inner Demons, Shark Week, They, Curse of Chucky)...I'm confident we'll start picking some winners soon! lol
+hecollec+or
Curse of Chucky surprised me. Thought it was really well done. The best since the 1st. Just one guys' opinion

Just one guys' opinion I'd have to agree with you there actually. I couldn't believe how much I liked Curse Of Chucky. Although I can never decide if I like the first or second Childs Play more.
