diabretic
Lost at the top of the world! What time was sunrise/sunset? We are slowly gaining daylight back, it's not so bad right now. Sunrise 09:29:00 AM Sunset 04:35:00 PM
GradedOnACurve
Wow I can't imagine sunrise at 9:30. I looked up Sunrise/Sunset times for where you are. Dec 23, 2013 10:59 AM 2:41 PM 3h 42m 18s Short day!
hudsoncomplex
There was a 50 car pile up on the freeway in my city on Friday. No super bad injuries, which is good. Apparently it was super sunny and then white out conditions out of nowhere.
jonnystorm777
Almost died driving to work the other day in this terrible blizzed. 2 1/2 hours later I ended up back home.

GradedOnACurve
Thats crazy Ry. MA/RI/CT got hit hard. I think we got 8-10 inches in Brooklyn which isn't too bad.
Guest
one city in CT reported 38 inches. the craziest part was when i shoveled last night around 10:30. i'd say there was somewhere between 8-12 inches at the time. once i finished, about 20 minutes later, a full inch had fallen where i started. within 2 hours, you'd never know i did anything. crapforgenius
We got a whopping 4 inches in Jersey City and people are panicking like it's the end of the world. I'm a little disappointed, actually. Coming from Western NY, I couldn't figure out what the big deal was. (There was no prep work for the snow, that's what the big deal was.) Seeing pictures from elsewhere, I realize we dodged a bullet, and I was more than happy to get out of work 5 hours early last night.
alogical
Thirty inches here in central CT. Luckily the continued high winds are helping blow some of the lighter stuff away. Shoveled for 3 hours and it feels like I didn't do shit.
GradedOnACurve
Also the douchebag tenant on the third floor of my house said when I started shoveling last night "Why you doin this now. Gotta half a foot coming our way." Yeah I treated the ground with salt early that way this morning I only shoveled the powdered snow and there was no layer of ice at the bottom. I did this because NYC also got a nice ice/sleet coat yesterday. Saved my back and aggravation this morning.
jhog3411
The news said my town got 30 inches here in MA. Shoveling sucks.
openupyourskull
There's over two feet on the ground here, with snowdrifts even higher than that. It's nuts.

sydmsix
Eh, I don't mind the weather. I've got scarves and caps and sweaters… But seriously, I am getting a tad tired of these dark, grey, flurrying days that are 20 degrees below average and windy. Looking forward to some spring like times ahead.
