mmhmm
I had never noticed this until you just mentioned it, but crap, huffing and puffing everywhere. How do I unnotice it! He does that on Five Score as well..and that had studio vocals on it. Go back and listen...there's a weird distortion on his breaths on some songs. Listen to the chorus on "I Need You." daegor
It's not as bad on Five Score, but yeah
tsostarich
I really think it adds to the album. It has a different sense of emotion behind what he's singing. I love that it's not all polished up.
mmhmm
^Agreed.
gmoney
I like Therapy. And Sahara. But not much else on this record.
cwhitmuzik
This record is leaps and bounds better than anything the band out out before that and I'd prefer this even if you put all of the bands best tracks together on one album. Easily.

I'd agree if it was more subdued, it's just too much

taylo234
This album just has such raw emotion. Probably their best in my opinion. Hope their next album keeps the same kind of sound!
tsostarich
I think you can really sense his pain and struggle from his failed relationship. It has all the ups and downs. I think this album is their most mature and honest. This is my go to "break up" album.
daegor
This album just has such raw emotion. Probably their best in my opinion. Hope their next album keeps the same kind of sound! Putting Darth Vader aside, I'd probably argue that 'mmhmm' still tops it. Maybe it's just person perspective/bias, but the commentary on various types of emotional dysfunction from a place that is entirely removed from angst was very refreshing. mmhmm
This album just has such raw emotion. Probably their best in my opinion. Hope their next album keeps the same kind of sound! Yeah, I've been a Relient K fan since they first came out and Forget & Not Slow Down is the only album I can get my wife to listen to with me. It's definitely their most mature-sounding album yet. taylo234
Mmhmm is still a killer album, so is four score, and even their first two aren't half bad. I just like that they branched out from the 'pop punk' sound and went to a more mature sound like combatchuckaa was saying. Also I personally hate this new every-pop-punk-band-sounds-the-same thing going on lately so it's nice to hear a change.
tsostarich
Apparently their new album is more in the pop direction.

drtomoe123
I love this album so much. Therapy is definitely one of my favorites. Tried to get this from them when they were on Warped in '11 but they were already sold out. Totally worth the $37. Can't wait to get it. brianmorgante
Ordered mine today finally, and was able to split it with someone to get them the bundle goodies, and keep the vinyl for myself. Stoked to get this one in the mail, and hope I can grab Mmhmm one day, haha.
tsostarich
Where did you hear this? I gotta find the interview, but Matt said it was more pop driven. The new songs they're playing live are also heavily pop driven.
tsostarich
Found it. Go to the bottom. http://www.grammy.com/news/good-times-ahead-for-brian-lee-and-matthew-thiessen

donlombardo
50 dollar shipping to Sweden, wow... 75 in total. Really want this record. Anybody want just other stuff, and send me the record for 25 + what it costs to ship to Sweden? or haven't bought this yet and could buy 2, 1 for you and 1 for me? please help me out! email me [email protected] No one? Also, this is a great record. rK is my favourite band of all time. My fav will probably always be to lefts, followed by mmhmm, but then this is right behind that one. taylo234
This record shipped within 3 hours of my order. I think they're making sure no one has buyers remorse on something that costs almost as much as the record to ship haha.

njdevils327
I got an email back. They basically told me to go fuck myself for being dumb enough to order it 2 weeks ago instead of now. Welp. At least I got to listen to it a few times before everyone got it. Not ever getting those 25 bucks back though
