I'm sure you could ask for a new code if you wanted. Real talk, any label thinking that 160kbps downloads are acceptable are out of their goddamn minds. Even a casual listener can tell the difference in a lot of cases, and many people who buy vinyl do so for the sound quality... meaning we probably don't want the shittiest mp3 version available. "Here, free cd." "No, I don't take things from labels that fuck their bands." "Heeeeeeey, don't hate..." "Pay your bands." *starts raising his voice saying something ridiculous* "Pay your bands." By this time he's screaming at me wanting me to come back and fight him as I'm walking away while I'm yelling "PAY YOUR BANDS" back at him. This is when he drops trou. I also used the "I don't take things from labels..." line to a street teamer once, and he got this really surprised look on his face and started stammering "y-y-you don't know that!!!!!!" really loud.
