Rip
I wanna buy a record off of someone on here but for some reason, the "gift" option isn't even available for me. It was before because I know for a fact I've used it. I tried 3 different browsers cause I googled it and someone said that could be the problem. I also tried the app on my phone and the browser on my phone. It only gives me the "I'm paying for goods or services" option or the "I'm sending money to family or friends" option. Anyone else have this problem or have had it before?
Nateisgame
It's the family and friends option, they just simplified it
daysaves
I'm pretty sure the sending money to family or friends option works the same as gift. Edit: Yeah, what Nateisgame said, haha.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
Unless the person you are buying from is a friend/family why would you send as a gift?

Guest
I think just about every time I've bought something from someone here, I've done it through the gift option on Paypal. 99% of the folks here are good people.

bigbruise
What is it? 6%? Just add that to your total.
dreamover
I always give buyers the option of adding a buck or two as purchase or quoted price as gift. 9 times out of 10, people pay as gift, but I absolutely understand the desire to pay as purchase. Rip
Yeah I always tell people it'd be nice to gift to me, but if not I understand. I always try and gift though. When it comes to buying and everything, people are pretty awesome on here.
almightyseancore
yeah, i made my last VC payment using the family and friends option. it confused me at first too, but worked the same way.
booyahachieved
Has anyone ever tried using Chase's quick pay option to transfer money? My friends and I use it all the time. There are no fees but the only catch is that both of you have to be banking with JPMorgan Chase. They're evil but I've learned to live with it. somethingvinyl
I used to ask for payment as a gift but I don't think you can print postage that way. The only option to print postage through Paypal, it seems, is if you receive payment through "goods" option. And since doing postage that way is so much easier than going to the post office, I'll take the hit on a couple bucks just for the convince. Like others have said, though, nobody worries about $1-2 for fees.
GradedOnACurve
You could accept money as a gift and print labels with Paypal Multiorder Shipping. Only good for domestic mail. somethingvinyl
somethingvinyl
Will try. I never really have multiple orders, though.
