Anyone want custom handmade guitar pedals?

Recommended Posts

I've been building pedals from scratch for the past year to slowly learn how it all works and I've finally started to sell some of the pedals I've made. I can build a clone of pretty much anything you could want & mod however you'd want & put custom artwork on the enclosure, etc.

Here are three I just sold on eBay that have a lot of photos:

I have a question regarding digital reverb pedals, what is the average battery life? It seems like the new pedal I got devours batteries. From what I've read online some people get 4-10 hours and some get a month (which seems more likely, I play bass primarily and can easily get a month or two worth of juice out of a 9V with my Boss bass pedals). I exchanged this pedal once because I figured there was an issue with the battery drain but the replacement is just as bad. Is this normal digital reverb pedal behavioral?

Shitty rambo, why are using batteries to begin with? Get a pedal power and an ikea diy pedalboard ($5) and youll never go back to batteries again.

I got tired of buying new adapters every 2 weeks, however this is back when I was in a touring band so using (stolen) 9Vs or rechargeable 9Vs was just a bad habit I picked up. Time to drag the velcro covered slab of wood out of the shed.

What's a good/inexpensive universal power supply? The ones I've tried via eBay which should be compatible don't work. Wonder if I should just get another BOSS branded adapter.

Have you tried the 1-Spot? I've never had a problem with it. Here's a link to the compatibility chart: http://visualsound.net/1-spot-compat-chart

You can find it online at a handful of music retailers and amazon for $27. Pretty sure musiciansfriend has free shipping over $25.

Is this the one you bought on eBay: http://www.amazon.com/JOYOS-IMPROVED-JP-02-SUPPLY-OPTIONS/dp/B0097WDJZA/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1369802925&sr=1-1&keywords=joyo+power

I am curious as I am considering buying the Joyo supply, the price for what you are getting is crazy. They state that the outputs are isolated, but I have read that they share a common ground, so they are not truly isolated.

Anyone have one of these? How do you like it?
