The guy on the other end put me on hold, came back a few moments later and said he could do it for that price. I went ahead and ordered one today & they said if a better deal comes up within 45 days of when the item was purchased, they'll go ahead and match it. There is no speed switch on the TT (although you can purchase a separate speed box to do so) so it's a matter of lifting up the platter, moving the belt up or down, depending on the speed you are selecting, and replacing the platter. It caused me to rethink my color choice so I dropped the black and went with the white which they had in stock and I love it and can't even imagine having the black one now lol.
