Star is a (now independent) rock/alternative artist who has been previously been signed to (and left on his own terms) Atlantic Records and Island Records. Star achieved more widespread popularity following his stint and success on the tv show Rockstar Supernova and his hit singles Start a Fire, Breathe and Last Train Home from his second full length studio album, 11:59. Following the release of 11:59 and years of touring, Star left Atlantic and released his new single Stay Awhile with Island. After a year of recording and no music to be heard, Ryan left Island and released Animals EP independently (digital only- with a small physical cd release to come soon via PledgeMusic). Animals EP truly shows the growth of Ryan as both a songwriter and as a great artist who can compose a cohesive and thrilling alternative project. Ryan, now completely independent, with a very loyal, but fairly small fanbase, needs help to release his new album.
