sweet! makes me wish i pulled the trigger on the marathon tour press from fire when ready, but it was $10 before shipping... not cool, man

I am a huge baseball card collector and redemptions are a big problem.

 

I got an Eric Lindros Hart Trophy predictor card in a pack of Upper Deck cards in '94, and lo and behold he won the trophy that year.  I sent the card in for the redemption(I don't even remember what it was) and I think it took a year and a half to finally get it back in the mail.

Sign of the times really, I ordered a bunch or cds from epitaph in Sept 94 by mailing in a money order. Delivered in Summer 95.

Simpler times.  I bet the record labels miss those days.  They didn't have to worry about getting a letter in the mail asking where someone's items are two days after they got the original mail order request in the mail.

   I would always mail stuff in and hope I remembered to make out the address correctly.  After I dropped it in the mail box the best thing I could do was forget about it for a couple of weeks.
