I got an Eric Lindros Hart Trophy predictor card in a pack of Upper Deck cards in '94, and lo and behold he won the trophy that year. I sent the card in for the redemption(I don't even remember what it was) and I think it took a year and a half to finally get it back in the mail. Simpler times. I bet the record labels miss those days. They didn't have to worry about getting a letter in the mail asking where someone's items are two days after they got the original mail order request in the mail. I would always mail stuff in and hope I remembered to make out the address correctly. After I dropped it in the mail box the best thing I could do was forget about it for a couple of weeks.
