Thrill Jockey like to do subscriber exclusive pre-sales for those who get their newsletter. Thursday's email said "Excited to give you the first crack at the first super limited color". Guess the official announcement from them and the band will come this week along with a new variant.

That's how I understand it, but people will drop off each month. So even if they have 3,000 this month, you will likely still get on for Betty if you subscribe within the first couple days of its announcement.

Packing was the same as it is for all of their releases. Box made for 4-5 records, they ship three with no additional padding or cardboard. Mine turned out ok, but there will likely be a ton of splits/busted jackets with these.
