when did this thread go from dumping on Ross for all the shady business practices to praising them for their releases? 

would be great to see after the 72hrs expired they tell that how many of each variant sold, just for pressing numbers, but I bet we won't see how much money they make of it  
 
the idea is pretty cool, more high demand releases should be done like this.

The Vinyl Music On is an all-in-one unit, so it does have an internal pre-amp and amp.
 
In (very) short, the pre-amp amplifies the signal from the needle, and the amp powers the speakers on the unit. All turntables need to go through a pre-amp of some sort before it gets to the amp itself. In your case, everything is happening within the turntable, and you're just pushing the sound to the powered speakers with the RCA cable. 
 
If it gets the job done and sounds good to you, that's all matters!

hypa hypa is such a banger, that video has gone insanely viral. i had never heard of them before seeing that.
i went back and listened to their older stuff based on that track and none of it very good 🤷‍♂️

Went for the splatter as well. I really dig these songs. They're a bit of a throwback to Doppelganger/self-titled in terms of production and sound.

Maybe MerchNow only got 1,000. I was able to add like 999 to my cart when it first went up.

sure it might suck for variant collectors but I have no problem with the band (or any band) pumping out a ton of variants during a period of uncertainty and not being able to tour - which is a huge money maker not just for DGD but any band.
